SWEET EXPLOSION!
A brilliant collaboration between food and photography!!
MARVOLUS MARSHMALLOWS!!
French designer Stephanie Marin collaborated with celebrity chef Mauro Colagreco to create Mangier, a series of untreated wooden trees that may be decorated with finger food. There are a few different designs in the collection, with each having a different number of ‘branches’. I am absolutely in love with the table sized ones that are filled with marshmallows. A great way to engage your dinner guests and make them interact with one another and the food!
EDIBLE STATIONARY
Edible Pens by Dave Hakkens.
Many of us have a habit of chewing on our pens, so, I’m sure you will appreciate this amazing foodie design!
The candy which is used doesn’t stick on anything and doesn’t melt when it’s in your hands. (To get an idea: It has the same texture as candy bracelets.) It contains 22 pieces and is filled with edible ink. The only thing which isn’t edible is the small point where you write with. When finished you throw it away or put it in a new re-fill pen. Of course this would be an exciting addition to any stationary set!
HUGE LOVE FOR ICECREAM!!
Although the heat wave is quickly disappearing on us… I am still sporting that Summery feeling and what better way to celebrate the summertime than Ice-cream!! Now I am very partial to a classic 99p cone, but I do like to push the boat out and experiment with flavours, colours and combinations as well!! Ice cream is so versatile and aesthetically beautiful - I mean who can really resist the sound of the Ice-cream van whizzing down your road?? So… How do you like yours?
